Puka Nacua Week 9 Outlook - Rams at Commanders

By Ellis Johnson (FantasyPros), Wed, Nov 4th 2026, 12:34am EST

Without Davante Adams, the Rams have decided to lean on their big tight ends and feed Puka short receptions to move the chains. This may limit his big-play ability; however, his volume is unbelievable. Catching 11 of 12 targets for 80 yards and a score last week, he now has 80 yards or a score in each of his last five games. Although he hasn't topped 80 yards in three straight games, a matchup with the Commanders is exactly what he may need. The Commanders are allowing the sixth most passing yards and fifth most passing touchdowns. I expect Puka will break at least one big play this game and is as good a bet as any to find the endzone. As a result, he remains an elite WR1 in Week 9.
