Akheem Mesidor stepped up in Week 5, tallying five solos, three assists, one sack, one tackle for loss, and one forced fumble. Mesidor is up to 2.5 sacks on the season, with a sack in two of his last three games. Akheem has looked the part through the first five weeks of the season and may be set to see an expanded role in the near future with Khalil Mack emerging as one of the hottest trade candidates in the league. Mesidor should be rostered in all leagues as a bye week depth piece who could emerge as a DL2/3 option in the next couple of weeks.
