Chris Rodriguez is a touchdown-dependent flex again this week with a nice matchup. Since Week 11, he has averaged 12.3 touches and 59.3 total yards as Washington's backfield leader. During that span, he has had 64.2% of the running back red zone carries. Rodriguez has only two targets, one reception, and six receiving yards this season, so if you're playing him, just understand that he offers nothing through the air. He has been quite good as a rusher, though. Among 57 qualifying rushers, he ranks 33rd in explosive run rate and first in yards after contact per attempt. The Giants remain a horrendous run defense. Since Week 10, they have allowed the most rushing yards per game, the highest explosive run rate, the third-highest missed tackle rate, and the most yards after contact per attempt. Rodriguez is dealing with a groin issue. He had limited practice sessions on Thursday and Friday. He has been listed as questionable.

Chris Rodriguez led the backfield with 10 carries for 52 yards (5.2 YPC, 42% snap share). He saw all the carries in the first half (Jeremy McNichols had a first-half carry taken off by a flag).
Still, C-Rod looks like the lead of this 3-headed monster. Great schedule ahead for the Commanders RBs as well. Specifically in the fantasy playoffs, the Giants/Cowboys is very juicy.
And they also might get a boost from Jayden Daniels coming back next week if he is healthy enough.

For the fourth consecutive game, Chris Rodriguez Jr. led the Commanders' backfield in fantasy scoring. In a Week 14 shutout loss to the Vikings, Rodriguez had a team-high 10 carries for 52 yards. Per Pro Football Focus (PFF), he played the most snaps (22) and led the backfield in routes (seven). Although both Jeremy McNichols and Jacory Croskey-Merritt were involved, neither made a significant impact. With a great Week 15 matchup against the Giants, Rodriguez can be a functional Flex play. The Giants have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season, allowing a ridiculous 6.1 yards per carry to backs. Rodriguez has a low ceiling because he's only caught one pass all season, but he provides a decent rushing floor and has touchdown potential as the Commanders' goal-line back.
