A.J. Terrell

Overall, a good, athletic corner who played a good mixture of both man and zone. Disciplined in zone coverage and sticky in man coverage. While he has a lot of work to do in press technique, he shows the fluidity and athleticism to keep up with shiftier corners. Gets caught flat footed at times, but shows good recovery skills. Good length and ability to close and make a play on the ball. Willing to engage in the run game. Good corner, but not great or top of this class. Would be a great CB2 on a NFL team. Best suited for a primarily zone cover scheme, but does have the experience to make a natural transition to either.

Atlanta Falcons rookie CB A.J. Terrell was removed from the league's reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Terrell was the Falcon's first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he was also the first player to test positive for COVID-19 in season. His return is much needed for a Falcons D/ST that hasn't been able to stop anyone so far this season.
