As teams work to trim their rosters down to 85 players, the Giants got a little bit closer to that number after releasing Morris. With Saquon Barkley being activated from the PUP list and Devontae Booker also in the mix, Morris became expendable. Morris, 32-years old, played in nine games for New York last year and totaled 238 yards and one touchdown.
