Carolina Panthers beat writer Steve Reed is reporting LG Amini Silatolu (knee) will undergo a surgery on Friday to repair his torn meniscus.
Fantasy Impact
The Panthers, who lost Andrew Norwell in free agency, are now down his presumed heir-apparent. Silatolu tore his meniscus at training camp which will require a surgery to repair it. As a result, he will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis but is indefinitely out of football activities for the near future. Expect Taylor Moton and Kyle Bosch to compete for the starting left guard spot for the remainder of the offseason, though the position is considered wide open.
