Bucs' C A.Q. Shipley suffered a career-ending neck injury in Week 11 and is being placed on IR.
Fantasy Impact
HC Bruce Arians said, "He had what we thought was a stinger" and "He had this injury back in 2013, I believe. Once we did the MRI and X-rays, it was determined that he really shouldn't play anymore." Arians added that "He'll be going on IR and starting his coaching career." Shipley, a journeyman OL, will be getting the opportunity to coach with the man who has been with him in some aspect on every step of his career. Arians' plan is to continue his tutelage of Shipley as a coach for the Bucs moving forward.
