The Washington Commanders have selected QB Athan Kaliakmanis with the No. 223 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
Kaliakmanis finished his four-year collegiate career completing 56.3% of his passes for 8,604 yards and 55 touchdowns in two seasons at Minnesota and two at Rutgers. He is coming off of a year that saw him complete a career-best 62.2% of his passes at Rutgers. Kaliakmanis protects the ball well and has above average arm strength with a quick release. Jayden Daniels is the starter in Washington, but Kaliakmanis will compete with Marcus Mariota and Sam Hartman for the QB2 role in 2026.
