Danielle Hunter (neck) to undergo season-ending surgery
NFL's Tom Pelissero reports that Minnesota Vikings DE Danielle Hunter will undergo season-ending neck surgery.
The 2x Pro Bowler was placed on IR shortly before the start of the season and it was assumed he would finish rehabbing and return to the team. The Vikings 1-5 record may have something to do with the DE's decision to think long-term and not rush back. This announcement came shortly after news that DE Yannick Ngakoue was being traded to the Ravens after only playing six games for Minnesota. The Vikings D/ST is clearly in a full-on rebuild and should be avoided by fantasy managers at all costs.
