DE - NYJ
Week 7 Outlook
Expert NoteView More Notes
Overall, a disruptive player from an EDGE or interior position. Played with his hand in the dirt and no evidence of dropping back into coverage. Created pressure constantly. Good frame with good speed/power combination. Great first step explosiveness and powerful hands. Aggressively chopping away at OL hands. Good motor when healthy. Ankle injury disrupted most of 2019 season and when he came back his conditioning didn't seem to be 100%, so incomplete evaluation. But he showed enough promise to be a first round pick in the Miami game. Would be an intriguing option to get your hands on in the middle rounds and then develop as a 4-3 EDGE.

Jabari Zuniga selected No. 79 by New York Jets
The New York Jets have selected defensive end Jabari Zuniga with the No. 79 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Jabari Zuniga is a talented defensive end with an advanced rip and dip technique. He has the size and talent to play anywhere on the defensive line, and should be a pressure creator even in the Jets scheme. An explosive and disruptive force, Zuniga has the upside to be remembered as the steal of day two. His IDP value will be dependent on where the Jets plan to utilize him. He is a name to monitor in IDP leagues.
