Gibbens won the starting role over Cody Simon this offseason, and only poor performance is expected to be a threat to his job. Gibbens is nothing more than an LB3/LB4, but can become a serviceable, or even coveted, LB3 option during the byes. For now, treat him as an upside LB3 for Week 2, thanks to a plus matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
