View More NotesElevated from the Texans' practice squad last week, Jawhar Jordan had a key 25-yard TD run in the Texans' Week 6 victory over the Jaguars as part of a 6-43-1 rushing day. Jordan also added a seven-yard catch. Jordan played only 22.2% of Houston's offensive snaps on Sunday, so you would have a hard time starting him with any confidence against the Giants in Week 7. The Texans are on bye in Week 8, and it's possible RB David Montgomery returns from his groin injury in Week 9, at which point the Texans' backfield presumably goes back to being a two-man platoon with Montgomery and Woody Marks. We don't recommend adding Jordan.

Jordan was elevated from the practice squad to provide depth in the backfield with David Montgomery sidelined with a groin injury. Fantasy managers should expect Jordan to remain on the roster to backup Woody Marks if Montgomery is sidelined again in Week 7.
