According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Detroit Lions CB Jerry Jacobs will open the season on the physically unable to perform list.
Fantasy Impact
Jacobs was vocal about the move on Twitter, but is mostly ready to "get back out there." This offers the Lions flexibility with its 53-man lineup and means Jacobs will be eligible in Week 5 to return. Jacobs, an undrafted player from the 2021 NFL Draft, adds more young CB depth to an ascending Lions roster when he returns.
