View More NotesJosh Downs has been slumping. I'm not laying this at the feet of Downs. It's a Daniel Jones problem. Downs hasn't had more than 50 receiving yards in a game since Week 3. Over the last four games, Downs hasn't finished higher than WR41 in any game. Since Week 4, Downs has had a 13.4% target share with 0.86 YPRR, one red zone target, four deep targets, and a 17% first-read share. Indy would be wise to feature him this week to drive his trade stock up, but we'll see if that happens. Downs is flex-viable again this week. In their last five games, Jacksonville has allowed the ninth-most yards per target to slot receivers while ranking 17th in fantasy points per opportunity.

Downs has been unsatisfied with his current role and is in a contract year. Spending that year on a team heading nowehere fast is not ideal, so trying to land on a team where you can build up your value and or get paid is the right idea. Now it’s just seeing whether or not he will be dealt, and where.
