Expert NoteView More Notes
Myers is an overall solid C/iOL prospect that has great size for the position. Good mover out in space and has scheme versatility that he could play in either a power scheme or outside zone. Has some issues with inconsistent hand placement and he tends to come up a little high, so seeing that tighten up would go a long way to his long-term projection. Otherwise, he's a solid pass protector that is able to handle stunts well and is able to handle his own in the run game. Needs to play with a little but more of a mean streak as he can get jolted backwards when he encounters an intense pass-rusher on the interior, but otherwise he has the potential to be a long-term starter in the NFL.

Josh Myers selected No. 62 by Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers have selected center Josh Myers with the No. 62 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Myers will attempt to fill the void left by the departure of stud center Corey Linsley in free agency. Strong in the run game, Myers will have to clean up his technique in pass pro to hang with some of the NFL’s best defensive tackles. Still, this is a strong pick at a position of need for the Packers.
