Ka'Deem Carey placed on injured reserve
Ka'Deem Carey (wrist) has been placed on injured reserve. The Chicago Sun-Times speculates that Carey will be released with an injury settlement.
Carey, a former 4th-round pick who was projected to go much higher before a historically dreadful combine, could never overcome his athletic limitations. The emergence of Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen has made Carey irrelevant for Chicago, and he'll try to catch on elsewhere. The book on Carey is out, and barring something improbable, he should be off your radar in all formats. At the time of this note, Jordan Howard, Tarik Cohen, Benny Cunningham, and Jeremy Langford will be the RBs Chicago takes into the season.
