The Saints haven't been able to run the ball. As a team, they have rushed for 55 or fewer yards in three of their last four games. The Saints' running game ranks 30th in defense-adjusted value over average (DVOA). When we last saw Miller before the Saints' Week 8 bye, he had eight carries for six yards against the Steelers.
Travis Etienne Jr. has been on IR with a hamstring injury and is eligible to come off IR this week. If we get word before waiver claims are due that Etienne will return this week, don't bother claiming Miller.
But if Etienne isn't ready to come back yet, Miller would be an option for the truly RB-needy this week. His matchup against the Browns is no better than neutral, but Miller has had 38 carries over his last three games.

Fantasy Impact
Miller went from having 20 carries last week for 70 yards to averaging less than one yard per carry. He's a very inconsistent asset; Travis Etienne Jr. will be back soon, and Alvin Kamara is still acting as the primary receiving back. Miller is not someone you can confidently start.
