Free agent wide receiver Kenny Britt is visiting the New England Patriots on Monday and could re-sign with them if his workout goes well, reports NFL insider Ian Rapoport. Britt was cut by the Patriots last month after a hamstring injury limited him in the preseason, so the health of that hamstring will likely be the focus of his workout on Monday.
Fantasy Impact
The Patriots did not have much luck at the wide receiver position in the preseason, with Jordan Matthews and Malcolm Mitchell also being released due to injuries. Britt did not have a great year in New England in 2017, but if he re-signs on Monday he could have some short-term fantasy potential with Julian Edelman suspended for the first four weeks of the season.
