Laron Byrd

Miami re-signs unrestricted free agent, LaRon Byrd, who joins a revamped receiving corp. Byrd was on the Dolphins' practice squad but was placed on injured reserve after injuring his shoulder late last season. Byrd spent his first two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact

Byrd has impressed the team enough to be kept around, but we'll see how he makes out during camp. What is clear is that the Dolphins are making an effort to help out Ryan Tannehill. Drafting a receiver during the draft seems a distinct possibility.
