WR - CAR - IR
Week 7 Outlook
Expert NoteView More Notes
Always lines up on the left side of the field. Long, lanky wide receiver. Average route runner. Nothing super crisp or clean. Limited route tree. Good athleticism and agile off the line. Good burst to pull away when the ball is in the air, but nothing excellent. Great hands. Makes several tough catches and only witnessed a few drops on tape. Decent in contested catch situations. Good RAC, but infrequently used in this fashion. Arkansas State plays to the boundaries and deep shots downfield. Either was catching the pass and getting out of bounds or was catching the ball near the end zone. Decent release at the line, but struggled to separate from inferior competition. Good at tracking the ball deep, but was rarely able to truly separate from man coverage enough to come down with it consistently. And decent speed, nothing exciting. Overall, an intriguing player due to the potential, but will most likely start out on ST before working his way into a NFL rotation.

Omar Bayless (knee) requires surgery
WR Omar Bayless (knee) will require surgery, per Panthers' HC Matt Rhule.
Bayless will require surgery on his knee, but the exact timeline he will be sidelined is unknown. The Panthers "won’t necessarily know the severity until that surgery, so it could be a couple weeks or could be a couple months," said Rhule. Bayless is buried on the Panthers' wide receiver the depth chart. With the knee injury, the 23-year-old has little chance of making any kind of fantasy impact in 2020.
