Quenton Nelson signs rookie deal
The Indianapolis Colts and their No. 6 pick in the draft Quenton Nelson have agreed to terms on a four-year deal.
They'll also have a fifth-year option, as is the case with all first-round picks. Nelson was apparently the only player outside of Bradley Chubb that the Colts were considering with the sixth pick, so it's clear they are making it a priority to protect Andrew Luck. Nelson's presence should not only help Luck, but provide a boost to the run-game that hasn't reached 1,400 rushing yards as a team (excluding quarterback) in each of the last six seasons.
