View More NotesWell, apparently I prematurely forecasted Rashee Rice's demise after two lackluster weeks to open the season as the Chiefs' fourth target option. Last week, that changed massively. Rice led the team with a 37.5% target share, finishing with a 7.3 aDOT, 88 receiving yards (4.89 YPRR), two red zone targets, and a 38.9% first-read share (led the team by a WIDE margin). We'll see if Rice continues to see this alpha-type usage moving forward, but it was wonderful to witness if you roster Rice. This week, Rice will face a Raiders' secondary that has utilized two high with 57.5% (11th-highest rate) of their defensive snaps. Against two high, Rice leads the team with a 21% target per route run rate while posting a stellar 2.45 YPRR. Rice should see enough volume to overcome a surprisingly tough matchup this week. The Raiders have allowed the fewest yards per target and fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Fantasy Impact
Rice has heated up in the Kansas City offense of late, posting over 80 receiving yards in each of his last two contests. The wideout remains one of the more dynamic pass-catching options in the Chiefs passing attack moving forward, with a Week 4 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders up next.
