That could easily change this week. Among 34 qualifying passers, Darnold is 15th in yards per attempt, 21st in passing success rate, 13th in highly accurate throw rate, and fourth in catchable target rate. Darnold is a strong streamer this week. He could easily post a QB1 stat line this week. Over their last five games, Chicago has allowed the most yards per attempt, the seventh-highest passing touchdown rate, and the fifth-highest passer rating.

Fantasy Impact
Darnold found Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a 28-yard score in the second quarter. The veteran quarterback wasn't perfect but he looked much better than he did in Week 6's overtime loss to the Broncos. Darnold has now thrown eight touchdowns and eight interceptions in six games. He will be a low-end QB2 in Week 8 vs. the Bears.
