Stevie Johnson being released
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the San Diego Chargers are releasing wide receiver Stevie Johnson on Tuesday.
Johnson missed the entire 2016 season due to a torn meniscus. The nine-year veteran has shown durability issues since 2013 as he's missed 29 games in that span, and 46 total in his career. With a light free agent wide receiver class this offseason, Johnson should still be able to find work for the 2017 season if his health remains intact.
