View More NotesTerrance Ferguson's appeal as a waiver target this week hinges on (1) the status of his ankle, which he injured Sunday night against the Broncos, and (2) the status of Rams WR Puka Nacua, who has missed Weeks 2-3 with a groin/hip injury.
Ferguson was held without a catch against the 49ers in Week 1, but then had 7-88-1 on nine targets against the Ravens in Week 2. He had only 1-9-0 on two targets against the Broncos in Week 3, but played only 22 snaps before leaving with an ankle injury that he briefly tried to play through.
We'll probably know more about Ferguson's injury status by the time we have to put in waiver bids, but we might not have clear information on when Nacua might return.
Bid conservatively on Ferguson unless we get word that Nacua could be out a while.

Ferguson left Sunday's game against the Broncos. He did return, but then left again after making one catch. With Colby Parkinson also banged up, Tyler Higbee could be in line for a bigger role.
