Jenkins is a mammoth of a RT prospect that has the size and strength combo NFL teams are going to love. He's excellent in pass protection and rarely gets beat. Good pop out of his stance in his pass sets and has heavy hands. Able to engage with defenders and as soon as that happens, they're neutralized. Rarely moved backwards with bull rush techniques. Solid in the run game and has the size to move defenders backwards at the line of scrimmage. Good understanding of how to shield his body and create running lanes. Tremendous length and able to push speed rushers all the way around the outside. Doesn't have the athleticism to keep up with them, but able to compensate with his length to create a pocket for his QB. Good balance when engaged with defenders, but can tend to get over his skis when climbing to the second level. Easily knocked off his center when reaching for defenders in the run game. However, only once on tape was he knocked off his platform and that was with a solid speed-to-power pass rush move. Good hand technique and quickly able to bring them back to center when fighting off edge rushers. Average athleticism. Certainly carries his weight well, but will be asked to be more of a traditional OT and stay around the line of scrimmage. Won't be asked to climb to the second level much or get out on the edge and lead outside zones. Tough son of a gun and loves finishing. Tremendous anchor ability. Engaged with DTs occasionally on tape and was rarely moved backwards even an inch. Overall, Jenkins is a rock-solid RT prospect that belongs in the 1st round conversation.
