According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, OL Trai Turner will miss the 2023 season after tearing his quadriceps in training camp Friday.

Turner, a former five-time Pro Bowl guard in Carolina, was entering his first season with the Saints. Turner has started 118 games in his nine-season career, playing for the Panthers, Chargers, Steelers and Commanders. He is now 30 and less productive than he was before, but he was set to be a depth piece behind Cesar Ruiz and Andrus Peat.
