Considering McBride lapped the fantasy field in 2025, there is surprisingly little buzz around the elite TE. Part of this is the return of Bowers, and part of this is the emergence of Colstan Loveland. Either way, it's hard to overlook 1239 yards and 11 touchdowns from last season. The Cardinals also brought back Jacoby Brissett, who isn't afraid to air it out. Unfortunately, outside of the offensive skill positions, this team is in rough shape. As a result, going against the Chargers to open the season is a little concerning. That said, McBride is guaranteed to see enough volume to have a solid fantasy outing regardless of matchup.

Trey McBride caught 7-of-8 targets for 65 yards in the Cardinals 37-20 loss to the Rams.

Fantasy Impact

McBride was tied for the team lead in targets and led the team in receptions Sunday. Despite a shaky quarterback situation, McBride will be one of the top tight ends drafted by fantasy managers in 2026.
