Zach Sieler signs three-year extension with Dolphins
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, DT Zach Sieler is signing a three-year contract extension with the Miami Dolphins worth up to $38.65 million, with $20 million guaranteed.
The Dolphins have been in ongoing contract disputes with DT Christian Wilkins. It's possible this extension can clear up money for Wilkins, but Sieler gets his deal done first. Sieler is a former seventh-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens but has made a career as a run-stopping DT. His run-defense grade of 79.9 ranked fourth on the Dolphins last year, according to PFF.
