| Pat Fitzmaurice FantasyPros | Oronde Gadsden had an exciting four-game run last year as a rookie with 24 catches for 377 yards and 2 TDs from Week 6 to Week 9. He was TE1 in fantasy scoring over that stretch. Despite some dazzling flashes, Gadsden's 2026 fantasy outlook is murky. The Chargers signed blocking TE Charlie Kolar in free agency and picked up former Browns TE David Njoku in May. The Chargers have also added fullback Alec Ingold, who was with new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel in Miami. With 49 catches for 664 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games as a rookie, Gadsden offers intriguing fantasy upside. But with two other quality tight ends on the roster, Gadsden should be no more than a later-round dart throw in 2026 drafts. | |
| Derek Brown FantasyPros | CeeDee Lamb had a "down" year last season as the WR11 in fantasy points per game, but that finish doesn't really tell the entire story of Lamb's season. In Week 3, he played only seven snaps, and in Week 18, he played only 45.5% of the snaps. If we remove those two games, he averaged 16.6 PPR points per game, which would have him as the WR9 in fantasy points per game last season. In that 12-game sample, Lamb drew a 24.8% target share with 89.4 receiving yards per game, 2.51 yards per route run, a 32.3% first-read share, and 0.098 first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). Overall, those marks would have ranked 13th, third, ninth, 12th, and 26th among all receivers with at least 200 routes last season. Lamb remains a locked-in WR1 with a stellar quarterback in his prime and George Pickens alongside him to keep defenses honest. | I'll be avoiding Oronde Gadsden in drafts this season. Yes, in Weeks 6-18 last year, he had his moments with five TE1 finishes in weekly scoring, but he was also only the TE17 in fantasy points per game. During that sample of games, among 50 qualifying tight ends, he was 36th in target per route run rate, 15th in yards per route run, 22nd in first-read share, and 29th in first downs per route run (per Fantasy Points Data). After Week 15, he failed to surpass a 70% route share in any game. All of these are concerning red flags before we even get to the Bolts' additions of Charlie Kolar and David Njoku this offseason. Gadsden looks like he's locked in a tight end committee for 2026, which is something I don't have any interest in dealing with for fantasy purposes. |
| Andrew Erickson FantasyPros | CeeDee Lamb took a step back in 2025, as injuries and the arrival of George Pickens cut into both his target dominance and touchdown production. Lamb finished as the WR15 on a per-game basis, averaging 76.9 receiving yards per game, but his weekly ceiling wasn't nearly as consistent alongside Pickens. Still, Lamb remains one of fantasy football's safest WR1 options attached to Dak Prescott, especially considering his elite production from 2023-2024. Even after a relatively disappointing season by his standards, the combination of talent, volume, and offensive environment keeps Lamb firmly in the top tier of fantasy receivers. | |
