Possession style receiver who has enough speed and agility to become a YAC threat. Incredible hands and great concentration while the ball is in the air. Able to make contested catches in tight windows. Tough to bring down on first contact for defenders with a strong upper body. Leg tackles are the only way to bring him down on first contact. Great body control and ability to stop and manage his momentum to break back out of routes and create separation. Great deep ball tracking ability where he can use that concentration to reel in the catch. Elusive after the catch and excels at breaking tackles. Good agility in short spaces. Won't break records at the Combine for speed, but has enough to succeed in the NFL. Competitor and tough as nails. Carried Oklahoma on his back at several points this season. Had several huge plays this season for TD's, but these were primarily a result of very poor tackling in the Big 12. His ability to get open in the NFL may not be as frequent. Has a very limited release package. Only does a release move when faking a run play. Otherwise, Lamb will simply move off the line and try to break away with his speed. With the type of corners he'll be matched up on in the NFL, this will create less and less separation opportunities for him. His speed won't allow him to pull away from defenders as easily at the next level. Needs to improve on release and creating that separation at the LOS. Decent route running ability, but relies on finding the soft spot in zones. Doesn't utilize leverage and sink in and out of his routes. If he's pressed at the LOS and has a defender who can stick with him, he's going to have to end up in a place with an extremely accurate QB who can place the ball in a spot only he can get. He's athletic and will certainly be a valuable WR in the NFL, but there are some concerns. Is not as spotless of a receiver as some may determine him to be.
