| Andrew Erickson FantasyPros | Malik Nabers remains an elite talent, but his 2026 outlook is heavily tied to recovery from a complicated ACL injury that wiped out nearly all of his sophomore season. Before going down, Nabers was producing like a fantasy WR1 in the Giants' offense. The concern isn't ability - it's availability, especially after requiring a second procedure during rehab. Nabers still offers league-winning upside once fully healthy, but fantasy managers should build in the expectation of missed time and a slower early-season ramp-up. However Nabers seems more than likely to be available for Week 1 after avoiding the PUP list while participating at the start of the Giants' training camp. | Jaylen Waddle's 2025 season looked disappointing on the surface, but Miami's run-heavy approach masked another highly efficient campaign from the former first-round pick (13th in yards per route run). Now in Denver after a blockbuster trade, Waddle steps into a pass-heavy offense where he projects as the featured receiver. His explosiveness and efficiency have consistently kept him on the WR1 fringe despite frequent nagging injuries and inconsistent volume in Miami alongside Tyreek Hill. But if Bo Nix and the Broncos offense continue ascending, 2026 could finally be the season Waddle delivers a true top-tier fantasy breakout. |
| Derek Brown FantasyPros | Last year, before he was lost to a torn ACL (with subsequent meniscus damage), Malik Nabers was the WR9 in fantasy points per game. In Weeks 1-3, he drew a 26.4% target share with 83.7 receiving yards per game, 2.15 yards per route run, and a 41.5% first-read share (per Fantasy Points Data). Those are all elite WR1 per game numbers no matter how you slice it. The worry surrounding Nabers this season is the recovery from the devastating knee injury. The early returns in camp have been positive. Nabers looks good from the few practice routes I have seen, displaying good acceleration off the line and precision with his route breaks. There are also concerns with Matt Nagy's hiring as the new offensive coordinator for the Giants. I'm willing to buy into Nabers at his ADP with more and more positive reports coming out. I don't plan on being overweight on him this season across my leagues, but he has moved from my do-not-draft list to a player I'm willing to absorb the risk depending upon my team build. | It's Jaylen Waddle SZN! I can't wait to see him ball out in the Denver passing attack. Waddle should get a wonderful infusion of volume this season, moving from an offense that was 29th in neutral passing rate to one that was fourth in that metric last season. Overall, Denver was fourth in passing attempts behind only Arizona, Cincy, and Dallas last year. Waddle is a stud no matter what metric you look at. Last year, among 109 qualifying wide receivers (per Fantasy Points Data), he was 12th in target per route run rate, 12th in yards per route run, seventh in first downs per route run, 12th in separation score, and 11th in route win rate. He also bested Courtland Sutton in each of those metrics with the exception of route win rate (15.3% vs. 15.5%). Waddle is a flag plant player for me this year. You can easily draft him as a WR2 for your teams this season that has WR1 upside. |
