Ryan Johansen will not face suspension

Johansen was assessed a five minute major and game misconduct for elbowing Tampa Bay's Brayden Point during Tuesday night's matchup. The Department of Player Safety reviewed the play and decided to fine Johansen $5,000 in lieu of a suspension. (NHL Player Safety on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
With four goals and 13 assists through 27 games, as well as zero points and only two shots in his last three games, Johansen is only a recommended start in deep leagues, though he can provide some matchup-based production for shallower leagues. If you are relying on him, he will not miss games related to the elbowing incident.
