Brady Tkachuk with solid-performance in loss to Vancouver

by Brendan Ballantyne | Senators Correspondent | Wed, Dec 4th 1:31pm EST

Brady Tkachuk turned in a solid fantasy performance in Ottawa's 5-2 loss to the Canucks on Tuesday. The American recorded an assist and stuffed some categories with eight shots on goal and six hits across 17:45 on the ice.

Fantasy Impact:

Tkachuk's season totals of nine goals and seven assists (16 points) in 28 games certainly don't jump off the page, but it's his ability to turn in stat-lines like we saw on Tuesday that makes him a valuable fantasy commodity. He now places seventh in the NHL with 105 shots on goal and fifth with 101 hits. He's the only player in the league that can say they're even top-15 in both categories. With that unique productivity in mind, it's almost a bonus he contributes the amount of offence that he does. Keep him rolling, the 20-year-old is only going to get better.
