Jared Spurgeon scored the final two goals of Friday night's game to complete his first career hat trick as the Wild topped the Oilers 5-to-3.

Spurgeon's three goals bring his season total to 10 to go along with 18 assists for 28 points. While he provides some blue line scoring, Spurgeon is on pace to have his worst plus-minus season of his career. Still, if you need some offense from a defenseman, then Spurgeon is worth a roster spot.
