Carl Grundstrom scores game-winning goal versus Minnesota

by Robert Klein | Kings Correspondent | Wed, Jan 27th 11:46am EST

Carl Grundstrom scored the game-winning goal at the 5:08 minute mark of the third period during the Kings' 2-1 victory versus Minnesota. The goal was his only shot attempt in 12:38 minutes of ice time.

Fantasy Impact:

The goal was his second of the season in five games played. He typically plays on the Kings' fourth line with Mike Amadio and Trevor Moore so don't expect a whole lot of scoring out of him this season. Grundstrom came to the Kings in the Toronto trade that sent Jake Muzzin to the Maple Leafs in 2019 and is one of the many prospects on Los Angeles that will be competing for an important role moving forward for the rebuilding franchise. Last season in 13 games played he didn't score a goal but had four assists.
