Travis Konecny scored twice to lead the Flyers to a 4-1 victory over the visiting LA Kings at the Wells Fargo Center Saturday night. (Source: ESPN)

Fantasy Impact: Konecny, a first time All Star this season, now has 17 goals and 25 assists in 46 games to lead the Flyers.

Flyers defenseman Justin Braun will return against the LA Kings after a six game absence with a groin injury, per Ryan Gilbert of Sons of Penn. (Source: Sons of Penn)

Fantasy Impact: The Flyers were able to hold down the fort while Braun was out, going 3-2-1 with wins over the Washington Capitals, Boston Bruins, and St Louis Blues.

Flyers forward Oskar Lindblom will begin treatment next week, per Sam Carchidi on Twitter. The 23 year old Swede was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. The team and NHL as a whole have rallied around Lindblom forming “Oskar Strong” in support. (Source: Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Lindblom is out indefinitely while he battles this rare form of cancer.

Carter Hart made 16 saves on 17 shots in a 6-1 rout over Buffalo Thursday night at the Wells Fargo Center. Over his last three appearances, one in relief, Hart has stopped 65 of 68 shots for a save percentage of .960. (Source:

Fantasy Impact: Hart is heating up at the right time for a Flyers team that is reestablishing their groove after a poor three game road trip. They remain a top five team in the league at home. The Flyers will look to keep the momentum going tomorrow when they travel to the Canadian capital to take on the Senators.

Alain Vigneault said today that Philippe Myers is expected back in the lineup tomorrow in Minnesota when the Flyers take on the Wild, per Sam Carchidi. Myers had been out a week with back spasms. (Source: Sam Carchidi on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Myers has been a revelation since his first call up to the big club this season. In just 17 games played, he's helped stabilize the blue line for the Flyers while chipping in three goals and six assists and boasting an impressive +14 rating.

Restricted free-agent Ivan Provorov has agreed to a contract extension with the Philadelphia Flyers. The deal is for six years and will pay the defenseman $40.5 million. (Source: Elliotte Friedman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Provorov recorded just 27 points and -16 rating in 2018-19, which was quite disappointing after what was a very encouraging sophomore season that resulted in 41 points and a +17. This regression clearly wasn't all on Provorov though, as much of the Flyers also took a step back. Just look at Shane Gostisbehere, who dropped from 65 to 37 points a season ago. Provorov feels like one of those players that is better in real life than in fantasy. He'll play his low-to-mid-20s shutdown minutes on your top pair, but he's not needed on the Flyers power-play. However, he's a very solid depth defenseman in fantasy leagues that record hits and blocks, as he's a consistent contributor that is not a black-hole offensively.

Sean Couturier had two assists against the Capitals.

Fantasy Impact: Couturier's two assists put him up to 36 assists and 63 points through 65 games played. He's 13 points away from a career high, it's been a good year for him.

Anthony Stolarz stopped all 38 shots he faced in Philadelphia's 1-0 victory on Tuesday.

Philip Varone opened the scoring in Monday's win over the Jets, recording his second goal of the season.

Fantasy Impact: Varone has just two points in 19 games with the Flyers this season. It was nice to see, but he should only be owned in extremely deep leagues.

Radko Gudas recorded two helpers in a 7-4 win over Minnesota on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Gudas' two-point effort was his first since his third game of the season, when he had three. Fantasy owners should consider these points as a bonus since Gudas mostly helps in league that count penalty minutes.

Scott Laughton snapped a seven-game point drought with three assists in a 7-4 win over Minnesota on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Laughton has four multi-point games this season, but this is the first time he's ever recorded three points in a game. Despite his big performance, he's not one to find the scoresheet very often.

Category: Game Recaps

Wayne Simmonds netted his 14th and 15th goals of the season in Philadelphia's 7-4 victory over Minnesota on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: It was a wild game with 11 goals, and Simmonds was able to grab a couple of them. It was his first multi-point game since October 16th, after he had three of them in the team's opening six games. Simmonds has not been consistent this year, nor has he been performing as well as previous years. He's still a solid option, but tender your expectations for the 30-year-old.

Mike McKenna was on the losing end of a 5-3 decision during Tuesday's game against Washington.

Fantasy Impact: McKenna had a tough go once again on Tuesday, allowing four goals on 25 shots for his fifth loss of the season. He's allowed 17 goals over his last four starts and should not be an option in any leagues. The Flyers are having a very difficult time finding the win column, and their goaltenders should be avoided for the time being.

Travis Sanheim opened the scoring during Saturday's overtime loss to the Calgary Flames.

Fantasy Impact: Sanheim's ownership level is pretty low, but those in deep leagues may have received a bonus as the defenseman tallied a goal on Saturday. Sanheim had over 25 minutes of ice time and is up to four goals and nine assists this season.
