Montreal Canadiens send Cole Caufield to AHL

Caufield, the consensus #3 prospect heading into the 2021-22 season, was sent to the Laval Rocket after scoring zero goals with only one assist in Montreal's first 10 games. (Yahoo)
Fantasy Impact:
Frustrated fantasy managers expecting Caufield to pick up where he left off from last year can slide him into their NA slots or stash him for the time being. With a plus/minus of -3 and dwindling TOI, hopefully he will recover some of the confidence that made him so electric for his first 10 games. The Canadiens recalled Michael Pezzetta from Laval but until they sort through their rotation issues, he's best left on waivers.
