Pavel Francouz was the victorious goalie as he saved all 34 shots he faced as the Avalanche beat Anaheim 2-0.
Fantasy Impact:
This is Francouz' second shut out through 35 NHL starts and was a big factor in a tight game with Anaheim. He was able to deny momentum to the Ducks, particularly on a Sam Steel breakaway that he turned away to which the Avalanche scored 2:18 after that. He's 5-1-0 with a 2.40 GAA and .922 save percentage. The way he's playing should lead to more starts in relief of Darcy Kuemper.
