Nicolas Aube-Kubel scores on the breakaway

Nicolas Aube-Kubel potted a goal for the Avalanche as they defeated the L.A. Kings 4-1 on Thursday. He ended the game with a goal, a plus-2 rating, two PIMs, two shots and three hits.

Fantasy Impact:

Aube-Kubel was spotted at center ice just after his penalty expired. Logan O'Connor took a look and found him for a break away pass. The pass however lacked mustard and forced Aube-Kubel to slow and make a nifty drag at the blue line to stay on side and maintain a clear line to the goalie. He got into the slot and fired a wrist shot past Jonathan Quick. He has six goals on the season and is worth keeping an eye on for streaming purposes. He doesn't see PP time but is in high scoring offense and contributes hits as well.
