Mackenzie Blackwood struggled between the pipes for the Devils Thursday, allowing four goals on just 24 shots faced in a 5-2 loss to the Flyers.
Fantasy Impact:
Blackwood will not offer fantasy owners much season-long value, as newly acquired Vitek Vanecek projects as the long-term solution in net for the Devils. The 25-year-old has been unable to replicate his breakout 2019-20 campaign that saw him post a 2.77 GAA while picking up 22 wins in 43 starts between the pipes for the Devils that season. Look elsewhere if in need of goaltending help.
