Sam Montembeault was solid between the pipes for the Canadiens Saturday night, stopping 36 of 38 shots faced in a 3-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

Montembeault has been strong in the crease of late for the Canadiens, allowing two goals or less in four of his last five starts (3-2-0, .936 save percentage) for the club. The 26-year-old netminder has flashed the ability to stand tall in net at times while working through consistency issues behind No. 1 goaltender Jake Allen, posting a .911 save percentage and 3.15 GAA in 20 starts (10-8-2) in the crease so far this season.
