Ilya Samsonov allowed three goals on 31 shots faced in the Maple Leafs' 3-2 loss to the Canadiens Saturday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Samsonov has been strong between the pipes of late for the Maple Leafs, allowing less than three goals in three of his last five starts (3-1-1, .940 save percentage) for the club. The 25-year-old netminder has formed a mostly formidable duo with fellow goaltender Matt Murray in Toronto to this point for fantasy owners, carrying a 2.22 GAA and .919 save percentage in 20 starts (14-4-2) in net so far this season.
