Nicklas Backstrom was able to light the lamp for the Capitals Sunday, scoring the team's lone goal in a 5-1 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Fantasy Impact:
Backstrom has been strong since making his debut January 8 after returning from injury for the Capitals, posting points in five of nine games in that span. The veteran center will look to offer a late-season boost to fantasy owners that patiently awaited his return, picking up five points (one goal, four assists) so far this season.
