Alexandar Georgiev was solid in net for the Avalanche Friday night, stopping 26 of 27 shots faced in a 5-1 win over the Jets.
Fantasy Impact:
Georgiev has been strong between the pipes of late for the Avalanche, allowing three goals or less in four of his last five starts (4-0-1, .928 save percentage) for the club. The 27-year-old netminder has recovered from his early-season woes in the crease for fantasy owners, posting a 2.67 GAA and .919 save percentage in 40 starts (24-12-4) so far this season.
