Alexandar Georgiev was strong between the pipes for the Avalanche Saturday night, stopping 28 of 29 shots faced in a 4-1 win over the Flames.
Fantasy Impact:
Georgiev has been strong in net of late for the Avalanche, allowing three goals or less in four of his last five starts (4-0-1, .934 save percentage) for the club. The 27-year-old netminder will look to finish strong for a Colorado squad in the thick of the Western Conference postseason fight, carrying a 2.63 GAA and .920 save percentage in 41 starts (25-12-4) in net so far this season.
