Ilya Sorokin was strong in net for the Islanders Wednesday night, stopping 25 of 26 shots faced in a 2-1 shootout win over the Capitals.

Sorokin has been solid in the crease of late for the Islanders, allowing two goals or less in four of his last five starts (4-0-1, .928 save percentage) for the club.
