Mackenzie Blackwood was strong in net for the Avalanche Thursday night, stopping 24 of 25 shots faced in a 6-1 win over the Wild.

Blackwood continues a stellar stretch in goal of late, allowing less than three goals in each of his last 10 appearances (8-1-1) for the Avalanche. The goaltender has been exactly what the high-octane Colorado lineup needed since being acquired, posting a .920 save percentage and 2.52 GAA in 29 appearances (14-10-4, one shutout) between the pipes so far this season.
