John Carlson posted one assist in the Capitals' 3-2 win over the Oilers Tuesday night.

Carlson has struggled to make an impact in the offensive zone, picking up points in four of his last 10 games (one goal, four assists) for the Capitals. The defenseman remains a fairly reliable option leading the Washington blueline most night, recording 29 points (four goals, 25 assists) in 47 games so far this season.
