Leo Carlsson posted one assist in the Ducks' 5-3 loss to the Oilers Friday night.

Fantasy Impact: Carlsson has failed to make a consistent impact in the offensive zone of late, recording points in just four of his last 10 games (five assists) for the Ducks. The talented rookie has yet to reach his elite potential as the 19-year-old continues to acclimate himself to the NHL, tallying 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) in 32 games so far this season.

Frank Vatrano tallied two assists in the Ducks' 5-3 loss to the Oilers Friday night.

Fantasy Impact: Vatrano has been impactful in the offensive zone of late, notching points in eight of his last 12 games (four goals, six assists) for the Ducks. The winger has been one of the more reliable forward options as part of an inexperienced Anaheim squad, tallying 38 points (22 goals, 16 assists) to go along with 97 hits and 55 penalty minutes in 51 games so far this season.

Ryan Strome was able to light the lamp for the Ducks Friday night, scoring two goals in a 5-3 loss to the Oilers.

Fantasy Impact: Strome has struggled to make much of an impact in the offensive zone of late, picking up points in just two of his last nine games (three goals) for the Ducks. The center has operated as more of an agitator on the ice for a young Anaheim forward group, picking up 36 hits and 63 penalty minutes to go along with just 26 points (eight goals, 18 assists) in 48 games so far this season.

Alex Killorn (finger) will miss four-to-six weeks the Anaheim Ducks announced Saturday. (Source: Frank Seravalli on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Killorn suffered the fractured finger during Wednesday night’s preseason contest, and will now miss extended time after signing a four-year deal with the Ducks in the offseason. Frank Vatrano will likely see an increase in playing time while Killorn remains out.

John Gibson allowed four goals on 35 shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Kings.

Fantasy Impact: Gibson made his return from injury and promptly lost his eighth straight start. The veteran had virtually no support from his teammates this year, and was hung out to dry on a nightly basis for the lowly Ducks. It remains to be seen if Gibson will finally request a change of scenery in the offseason, as frankly, he deserves better than this. He finishes the year with a record of 14-31-8 with a 3.99 GAA and an .899 SV%.

Adam Henrique added his 16th assist of the year in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Kings.

Fantasy Impact: Henrique had some stretches this year where he looked like a must-start player, and others where it looked like he was unrosterable. He finished with 38 points in just 62 games as he missed 20 due to injury. Those numbers prorated over a full season would have led to a 50+ point year. The veteran has one year left on his deal with the Ducks and could play a vital role in the top-six forward group next season, with exposure to any talent the Ducks bring in.

Cam Fowler added his 38th assist of the season in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Kings.

Fantasy Impact: Fowler ends the year on a four-game assist streak, finishing with 10 goals and 38 assists in 82 games. This was about all the Ducks could ask for and then some. A veteran playing every single game for a rebuilding team, and actually having a great year, was unexpected, to say the least. Fowler was one of the few Ducks worth rostering in all formats by season's end, along with Trevor Zegras and Troy Terry. If the Ducks improve the roster for next season and still give Fowler a good portion of the ice time he saw this year, he will be a more than serviceable sleeper defenceman heading into 2023-2024.

Max Jones added three shots, 12 PIMs, and scored his ninth goal of the season in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Kings.

Fantasy Impact: Jones is finishing up a campaign in which he could never seem to find his stride. With 19 points in 69 games, the former first-rounder is yet to really reach that next level of production. Perhaps an offseason change of scenery, or the Ducks improving the roster and giving him some exposure to more talent, could give him the opportunity to reach his potential.

Troy Terry scored his 23rd goal and added his 38th assist in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Kings.

Fantasy Impact: Terry finishes a strong season which saw him produce 61 points in 70 games. Along with Trevor Zegras, the two were the only Ducks worth rostering from the start of the year, and even though Terry missed some time due to injury, he more than made up for it in the games he did play. Terry may have an even better season next year, as the Ducks are sure to bring in reinforcements to retool this lackluster roster. He should be a good target in the middle rounds of the draft next season.

Trevor Zegras added 14 PIMs and scored his 23rd goal in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Kings.

Fantasy Impact: Zegras is finishing off a solid season which saw him hit 65 points in 81 games. While he has the upside and offensive ceiling of someone who could easily eclipse 80 points in a year, the last-place Ducks had very few Fantasy contributors this season, so it was a good year for Zegras in the end, all things considered. The Ducks should be looking to revamp their roster over the offseason, which should give Zegras some exposure to better talent around him. Next year may be the year he comes close to reaching his potential.

Lukas Dostal allowed three goals on 36 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Canucks.

Fantasy Impact: Dostal fell to 4-10-3 with a 3.78 GAA and a .901 SV%. Dostal has lost his last seven starts and does not have any value in any format of Fantasy hockey right now. Avoid him at all costs in your leagues and any DFS slates.

Drew Helleson scored the first goal of his career in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Canucks.

Fantasy Impact: The rookie defenceman will see a cup of coffee of playing time in the big leagues before the season ends. He may not have much value until next year, but if anything, keep him noted as a deep-league sleeper for next year.

Mason McTavish scored on the powerplay for his 18th goal of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Canucks.

Fantasy Impact: McTavish snapped a stretch of 14 games without a goal and just two assists. The inconsistency is what killed his value this year, as when he was hot he looked like the dynasty stud he has been touted as, but when he was cold he was unrosterable. Adding some muscle and some improvements to the Anaheim roster next year could lead to a breakout season, so keep tabs on him leading up to next year's draft.

Brett Leason scored his sixth goal of the season in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Avalanche.

Fantasy Impact: Leason is up to just nine points in 54 games. There is still some potential here, but he might not unlock it in Anaheim. Regardless, he is not relevant in any format of Fantasy Hockey right now, so leave him untouched in your league.

Derek Grant added assists 11 and 12 on the year in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Coyotes.

Fantasy Impact: Grant has just 17 points in 43 games played this year, which is solid enough for a fourth-line checking forward and faceoff specialist. However, to say his offensive upside is modest would be putting it lightly, and because of that, Grant does not deserve to be rostered right now.

Olle Eriksson Ek allowed five goals on 39 shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Coyotes.

Fantasy Impact: Eriksson Ek is finally in the history books after completing his first career start in the net. He had a decent game all things considered, though the Ducks have lost ten games in a row and do not appear to be on the verge of ending that streak. It remains to be seen who the starting goaltender will be for the Duck's next game, though with John Gibson banged up, it will either be Eriksson Ek or Lukas Dostal. Neither should be rostered in any league right now, and it is best to avoid them in DFS as well.

Scott Harrington scored his fourth goal of the season in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Flames.

Fantasy Impact: Harrington is simply a veteran presence on the lowly Ducks, but it is good to see him giving it his all in these final games. He offers minimal upside in all formats, so be sure to leave him on the waiver wire in your league.

Category: Game Recaps

Kevin Shattenkirk earned two assists in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Flames.

Fantasy Impact: Shattenkirk is up to 25 points in 71 games this year. The veteran is not the same contributor he used to be. He does not need to be rostered in any format to close out the season, so leave him on the waiver wire in your league.

Category: Game Recaps

Sean Carrick earned assists three and four on the year in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Flames.

Fantasy Impact: With just seven points in 50 games this season, Carrick offers virtually zero offensive upside. Leave him unrostered in your league to close the season.

Category: Game Recaps

Maxime Comtois added his ninth goal and tenth assist in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Flames.

Fantasy Impact: With under 20 points on the year, Comtois has had quite a disappointing season. He showed flashes of being a productive contributor last season, but this year he simply has not found his groove. Leave him on the waiver wire to close out the season in your league.
